Island Batik currently employs over 200 artisans and workers who transform our top quality base cloth into the spectacular designs and colors that Island Batik is well known for.


The philosophy of Island Batik has always been to participate in the success, enrichment and development of the community in which we manufacture our batik.

Island Batik’s main office and distribution center is located in Carlsbad, Southern California. This is where the imported fabric arrives and is distributed to individually owned quilt and fabric stores all over the United States and abroad.
