Are You a Pattern or Textile Designer?

We are always interested in discovering thoughtful designers who bring a strong point of view, refined color sense, and a clear understanding of the quilting and sewing community.

At Lumin Fabrics, design matters. We look for artists and pattern designers who create work with intention, whether that is a cohesive fabric collection, distinctive repeat artwork, or original quilt patterns that inspire makers.

Before submitting, we encourage you to explore our brands to understand our aesthetic, color direction, and customer base. The strongest submissions reflect an awareness of who we are and how your work could complement or expand our current offerings.

What We Look For

• A cohesive body of work that demonstrates range and consistency

• Strong color development and an understanding of repeat or placement

• Collections that feel market ready, not just concept driven

• Designers who are open to collaboration and creative direction

• A clear voice that feels authentic and usable

We welcome both textile artwork and quilt pattern designers. If submitting pattern designs, please include photography of finished quilts whenever possible.

How to Submit

Please email us a digital portfolio that includes:

• 6 to 12 representative images

• If submitting a collection, include a cover page showing how the designs work together

• Clear labeling of collection and design names

• Your full contact information

• A brief introduction about yourself and your creative background

PDF format is preferred. Keep file sizes manageable and organized. If your work aligns with our needs, we may request high resolution files for further review.

Due to the volume of submissions we receive, response times may vary. We carefully review each submission and will reach out if we feel there is a strong fit.
