Kari Nichols

Kari Nichols is the creative force behind Quilting Renditions, where her designs bring fresh, modern quilt patterns to makers of all skill levels. Growing up in Colorado in a family of seamstresses, Kari’s love of color and design began early and first found expression in stained glass art. When one of her favorite pieces broke, she naturally turned to fabric as a new medium, launching her journey into quilt design and pattern development. Over more than 25 years in the industry she has created patterns that are sold across the United States and internationally, and her work has been featured in publications such as McCall’s Quilting, Quilter, and Quick Quilts. Kari also spent formative years managing a major quilt store in the Rocky Mountain region, an experience that deepened her connection to the quilting community. Today she focuses fully on Quilting Renditions, sharing her passion for creative, trend-inspired quilt patterns. When she isn’t designing, Kari enjoys time with her grandchildren, traveling, and even skydiving for fun.
